This course is designed for the Law students who have  made satisfactory scores from the placement test administered  by the Office of BEC or the ones who have successfully completed the YBD 109, and been grouped according to their English proficiency level. A continuation of the YBD 109, The YBD 209  offers more insight into the mechanics of English Language. During the year,   students are given the opportunity to use the language in such a way that they will be able to think critically, write meaningfully, and read effectively in the target language. The course material includes tasks for the reinforcement of acquired language skills and development of academic language strategies by the use of content-based materials, which will enable students to become acquainted with the themes and terminology related to Law. The course content will also cover the basic knowledge and skills to be used in their prospective careers, such as designing a CV, delivering a presentation, and handling business correspondence.
